Great News! Our Paper on Complete Fasting Published on an SCI Journal

We are glad to announce that our paper, entitled Ten Days of Complete Fasting Affected Subjective Sensations but not Cognitive Abilities in Healthy Adults, was published on European Journal of Nutrition (SCI Journal, IF 4.7) in January 2021. The relative experiment was conducted in Shenzhen China in May and June 2018, in which six volunteers were confined in a simulated Mars Capsule and seven in a restricted area, and all the 13 volunteers completed the 10 days of complete fasting (water-only fasting).

We, Beijing Ziyuan Fasting Training Center, were responsible for making the whole fasting process easy, comfortable and safe for the volunteers. Four other well-known institutes and universities, including China Astronaut Research and Training Center, SPACEnter Space Science and Technology Institute, Beihang University, and Harbin Institute of Technology, involved collectively in the experiment.

More experiments and studies with a prolonged time period, such as 21 or 28 days, of complete fasting, will be conducted in the near future. We believe these studies will provide a perfect solution to the food issue in manned space programs.

It helps people get detoxified, lose weight, recover from chronic diseases, and enhance working or studying efficiencies, among many other results. As most of the advanced Daoist masters who keep the bigu method prefer to live in the remote mountains as solitaries, average people have very few chances to study bigu. More than ten years ago, I started teaching bigu in China. Since then, thousands of Chinese people and a few non-Chinese speakers from foreign countries have experienced th
